We have used this park for years. We go unpowered and walk to toilet block. Quiet, friendly and pet friendly park despite being immediately adjacent to a National Park. The CP has been recently adopted by a clan of King Parrot. They will eat seed from you hand. Don't forget the camera and the seed.

We came for the long weekend and it was a very busy campsite. We came as a medium sized group of students and set up at the unpowered site areas situated out the front of the property. It was great considering we were far enough away from the 100's of campervans and families parked out the back at the powered sites.

But eucalyptus trees are full of insects & lime colored small caterpillars which slime gunk & poo all over your car & tent.

The campsite has almost direct access to the walking tracks. Camp kitchen was well set up consisting of fridges (x4), BBQ's x2, sitting area, TV, Toaster. Two pools, clean amenities block, reasonable shade. There's designated places for campfires and campfire wood available on site (for a fee - ~$10 for a bag - equates to ~1 night's fire - or a $20 scoop of wood equivalent to ~3 bags of wood). A small kiosk that has some basic supplies as well as snack foods. 2x pools. 2x toilet and shower blocks with hot water and good pressure. Would recommend people book in early for the powered sites as it looked fully booked.

I thought this was an excellent can ground. Lovely setting and so convenient to all the bush walks in the national park. The camp kitchen was really well set up. Two gas BBQ, four fridges, big screen TV, toaster, etc etc. Two pools, clean amenities block, reasonable shade.

Best thing is the setting is very natural surrounded by mountains. We like this place in general.

We stayed for one night with our motorhome (so this comment is not for those looking at cabins). Kitchen and toilet/shower room are clean with all the basic stuff you need - BBQ pit, dish washing, knife, and fridge. They have swimming pool as well but it is too cold to swim in winter. Cania Gorge NP is not so big so within 10min drive you will be able to reach all tourist spots you'd like to visit. And agree with other reviewers that it is a bit pricey for its location and amenity. We told the manager that we rented motorhome from Apollo so expected 10% discount but it was not discounted.
